This is going to be a short post … but it means as much as any other that has appeared on this site.
And the lesson of this post is very simple:
You never know.
You never know when you are going to meet somebody that will blow your mind with the way they think, the way they view the world.
Tonight, outside of a bar here in Cleveland, where I am for Content Marketing World, I met a man named Adam. He started talking and telling stories. And his basic premise was … primility.
He talked about the importance of having humility — in everything you do in life: when approaching other people, when telling them your thoughts and beliefs. Of course, as I told him, you have to have a certain level of pride to approach people you don’t know and start espousing your life philosophies to them.
Adam had both. He was humble in his message, but prideful in his willingness to discuss them openly with strangers.
I love encounters like that. I appreciate encounters like that.
They are unexpected, but they are meaningful. And they can’t be total coincidence. Sometimes the Language of the World speaks. We hear it if we’re open to the sound.
Primility is everywhere. You just have to listen.
The message always impacts in a positive way.
Adam needs a wristband. I hope he sends me an email (I gave him my card), so I can send him one.
